I love the winter solstice for a simple reason. From this point on, the days slowly begin to grow longer.
The December solstice is a quiet turning point, shaped by Earth’s 23.5-degree tilt. In the Northern Hemisphere, it brings the shortest day and the longest night. In the Southern Hemisphere, it marks the longest day and the height of summer.
I always pause here. Not to rush the season, but to notice the shift. A little more daylight returns. Slowly. It reminds me that change does not have to be loud to matter. Sometimes it arrives quietly, one minute of light at a time. Wishing you a peaceful solstice and hope for good things ahead.
As the light gently returns, what are you making space for?
